Experience a mini break jam-packed with action, including a busting city and cruise, Peak District town and discover the secrets of space at Jodrell Bank
Buxton
Buxton is a thermal spa town in the heart of the Peak District. Here we enjoy free time with the opportunity to explore the Buxton Heritage Trail and discover some of the smaller features of the town, such as St Ann’s Well for a free taste of Buxton Water. Of particular note is the Buxton Crescent Heritage Experience, which explores the history of one of Buxton’s most iconic buildings (extra cost)
Liverpool & Floating Grace Cruise
Liverpool is famous as the home of the Beatles, Cilla Black and the Liver Birds, with many famous sights and sounds for you to discover – from museums and cathedrals to a Magical Mystery Tour or visit the Beatles Story. After free time to explore in the morning, we join the Floating Grace for a two hour cruise of the docks with a delicious afternoon tea onboard
Jodrell Bank
Jodrell Bank Observatory is part of the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Manchester, and their visitor experience gives an amazing insight into space and our celestial neighbours. There is plenty to explore including the Space Dome immersive auditorium, exhibition on the history of Jodrell bank, 35 acres of beautiful grounds and more
