Itinerary

Discover Pitlochry, Gateway to the Highlands and holiday destination for over 150 years, with its rich history and wonderful scenery

Enchanted Forest

The Enchanted Forest is a stunning sound and light show set against the beautiful surroundings of nearby Faskally Wood. Marvel at dazzling visuals set against an original musical score as you wander the woodland trails for this magical experience (NB: woodland route is approx 1.8km)

Cairngorm Mountain & Atholl Palace Hotel Museum

Experience a breath-taking trip on Scotland’s only funicular railway, running 2km to 3,500 feet above sea level. We continue to Atholl Palace Museum – the only museum of its kind to celebrate the social history of a hotel. We enjoy a fascinating self-guided tour and delicious cream tea during our visit

Blair Castle & Blair Atholl Distillery

Blair Castle has been the home of the Atholl family for 750 years, and was the last castle in Britain to be besieged as the Jacobites retreated to Culloden. After exploring the castle, 9 acre garden and red deer park, we travel to Blair Atholl Distillery for a tour and whisky tasting at one of the oldest working distilleries in the country

Falkirk Wheel

We enjoy a boat trip on the Falkirk Wheel and find out more about this iconic structure at the Falkirk Wheel visitor centre
