Itinerary
Tenby is a charming town steeped in history, with a maze of streets and picturesque harbour to explore. It overlooks Caldey Island, famous for its monastery, and boat trips can be taken to visit the island during the summer months
Aberglasney Gardens
Aberglasney was made famous by the BBC series A garden Lost in Time, which followed its restoration, and today is one of the finest gardens in Wales. We begin with a guided tour covering the 500 year history of the house and gardens, before enjoying free time to explore the magnificent grounds
Gwili Railway & Carmarthen
Gwili Railway is one of the UK’s most picturesque preserved lines, following the course of the river Gwilli through beautiful countryside, farmland and wooded hillsides. After our steam train journey, we continue to the town of Carmarthen for free time to explore the many independent shops, modern indoor market and riverside walks
Love Spoon Workshop & Pembroke (£)
We begin a day with a visit to the Love Spoon Workshop, where we will enjoy a fascinating talk about the history and technique of love spoon making in Wales. We continue to Pembroke for free time, famous for its Norman Castle and diverse high street
