Itinerary

Explore the beautiful Dorset Coast on our summer holiday staying at the Leam Hotel in Weymouth. The town lies on the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, which stretches from Orcombe Point in East Devon to Old Harry Rocks in Dorset

Salisbury

Explore the medieval city of Salisbury, a fascinating blend of the past and present, from historical architecture and museums to bustling independent and high street shops. Why not visit Salisbury Cathedral, which has Britain’s tallest spire at 123 metres, yet sits on foundations of only 18 inches? Explore this stunning building which was constructed in only 100 years, the short timespan indicating the wealth of the area at the time. It is also home to the best preserved of the four remaining copies of the Magna Carta

Poole & Swanage (£)

Poole is a wonderful place to explore as you stroll along the busy quayside with views across to Brownsea Island, owned by the National Trust and home to a colony of our British red squirrels – one of the few remaining places in Southern England where they survive. We continue to the traditional seaside resort of Swanage, popular with visitors for its beautiful coastline and the Swanage Railway, a heritage line running from the town to Corfe Castle, where the castle ruins dominate the skyline above the village bearing the same name

Your Hotel

The Leam Hotel is in a quiet location on Weymouth’s seafront, close to the Clock Tower, and a gentle stroll along the promenade to the town centre and harbour area
