Itinerary
Explore the wonders of the Ribble Valley, from stunning countryside to the marvels of Victorian architecture as we discover the highlights of North West England
Ribble Valley, Astley Hall and fish & chip lunch
Our tour of the Ribble Valley begins with a coffee stop at Oswaldtwistle Mills, followed by a 90 minute guided tour by coach. After a delicious fish & chip lunch, we continue to Astley Hall Gardens with free time to explore the gardens & parkland
East Lancashire Railway & Leyland Commercial Vehicle Museum
We travel to Bury for some free time to visit the famous market, before boarding the East Lancashire Railway for a journey to the pretty village of Rawtensall in the Rossendale Valley. From here, we continue to the British Commercial Vehicle Museum in Leyland to discover Britain’s motoring heritage
Leighton Hall & Lune Aqueduct Cruise
Leighton Hall is the ancestral home of the world-renowned Gillow furniture family, where we enjoy a guided tour. After our visit, we head to Lancaster where we enjoy a 1.75 hour Lune Aqueduct Cruise, which begins in the Victorian City Centre before heading out into the countryside to the aqueduct
