Agatha Christie’s Riviera
We spend the day with a local guide following in the footsteps of celebrated author, Agatha Christie. Torquay was one of Christie’s childhood haunts and during our tour we’ll discover the locations she used in her stories and learn more about her famous fictional characters, with time to explore the Agatha Christie Mile
Sidmouth & Donkey Sanctuary
Explore the beautiful resort of Sidmouth, nestled beneath the russet cliffs of the Jurassic Coast and famous for its beautiful Connaught Gardens and beach-side promenades. As well as free time in the town, we visit the nearby donkey sanctuary to meet some of the residents and find out more about the work this charity does for donkey welfare around the world
Buckfast Abbey
Buckfast Abbey is an active monastery based in the tiny village of Buckfastleigh, famous for its tonic wine and the Buckfast bee. We have a morning visit here before returning to the hotel for a free afternoon and traditional cream tea
