Experience the majestic Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a magnificent extravaganza of military bands, pipes and drums set against the backdrop of the stunning Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh and the Tattoo
We spend the day in Edinburgh, beginning with a guided tour by coach of the city’s highlights. There is free time in the afternoon before heading to the Castle for the performance of the Edinburgh Tattoo – an unmissable evening!
Stirling and the Kelpies
The Kelpies are a work of art created by artist Andy Scott and are an incredible feat of engineering, standing 100 feet tall and weighing 300 tonnes each. They are modelled on two real-life Clydesdale horses, Duke and Baron, and represent the lineage of the heavy horse in local Scottish industry. We continue to the stunning town of Stirling, famous for its beautiful castle at the heart of the Old Town, for some free time
Scone Palace
Scone Palace is the original home of the Stone of Destiny, crowning place of Scottish Kings including Macbeth and Robert the Bruce, and is filled with stunning art and architecture. We spend the morning exploring this historic estate before a free afternoon spent at leisure in Perth
